
Pork Ribs with BBQ Glaze
Ingredients
- 1.2kg pork rib racks, remove from fridge ½ an hour before cooking
- 90ml + 80ml Australian Black Limes ‘BBQ Glaze with Black Lime Sauce’
- salt
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 2 spring onions, finely sliced
Directions
- Slice rib racks into portions of 3 large ribs and 4-5 smaller ribs.
- In a large air frying silicone bowl that fits comfortably in the air fryer, add the ribs.
- Pour 70ml of ‘BBQ Glaze with Black Lime Sauce’ onto the ribs.
- Use your hands and coat the ribs evenly with the sauce.
- Use the sides of the bowl to hold up the ribs so they are somewhat propped up and not layered on top of each other.
- Preheat the air fryer to 130°C and once preheated put the bowl of ribs into the air fryer on the air fryer tray. Cook for 15 minutes.
- Turn the ribs over, and those that were at the bottom of the bowl, bring to the top.
- Use the sauce that is at the bottom of the bowl to baste the ribs.
- Put the bowl back into the air fryer for 15 minutes.
- Turn the ribs again, putting the least cooked and largest ribs towards the top of the bowl. Baste the ribs again with the sauce at the bottom of the bowl and cook for 10 minutes until they have been cooked for a total of 40 minutes.
- Now, increase the temperature to 200°C. Baste the ribs with 10ml of fresh ‘BBQ Glaze with Black Lime Sauce’.
- Place the smaller and more cooked ribs underneath the larger less cooked ribs and cook for 5 minutes. Turn the ribs over, baste with 10ml of fresh ‘BBQ Glaze with Black Lime Sauce’ and cook for 5 minutes more until golden brown.
- Slice the ribs into single pieces and sprinkle with spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve with your favourite side dishes. Pour 80ml of BBQ Glaze with Black Lime Sauce’ in a small bowl for dipping ribs in.

This recipe uses a 9L air fryer. Smaller ribs may cook faster than larger ribs and need less cooking time
