Black Lime Powder (50g)
Black lime powder (loomi) is a traditional Middle Eastern ingredient with a flavour that’s hard to forget — zesty, earthy and gently fermented, like lime with a smoky depth. Finely ground, it’s the easiest way to add black lime to everyday cooking.
Our black limes are grown and dried on our family farm at Bethel Estate in Gingin, Western Australia, using a traditional Persian preservation technique adapted to our Wheatbelt climate. We then mill them into a fragrant powder that blends smoothly through marinades, dressings and slow-cooked dishes.
Flavour
Smoky citrus lift, savoury tang, gentle bitterness and depth.
How to use
- Stir into marinades, dressings, yoghurt and sauces
- Add to soups, stews, legumes and curries
- Finish seafood, roast vegetables, chicken and lamb
Tip: Start with ¼–½ tsp per recipe, taste, then build.
